unpeople Share Breezy New Track ‘blueprints’

Rock Sound · 5 hours ago

British rock quartet unpeople have released a new single, 'blueprints', taken from their forthcoming debut album 'we are unpeople'. The track slows the band's sound to a more measured pace while retaining their grand, anthemic style, blending brit-pop influences with heavier British rock sensibilities, and follows previous single 'friends' as another preview of the record.

Singer and guitarist Jake Crawford said the song deals with the difficult subject of enabling people whose behaviour harms themselves or those around them, adding that bandmate Luke wrote most of the track before Crawford developed the verses further. The debut album 'we are unpeople' is due for release on 9 October via SharpTone Records, and the band will support it with an extensive UK and Ireland tour running from late September 2026 through January 2027, taking in cities including Manchester, London, Glasgow, Dublin and Belfast.
