Yeah Yeah Yeahs have released a new live album, Hidden in Pieces Live at the Royal Albert Hall, recorded during a June 2025 London show, alongside a companion concert film. It marks the New York trio's first live release since 2022's studio album Cool It Down, and singer Karen O has described the accompanying shows as an emotionally raw response to the aftermath of the 2024 US election, offering fans a moment of communal catharsis through live music.

The album is streaming now via Bandcamp, with physical editions arriving through Secretly Canadian on 23 October, while a 22-minute film directed by Barnaby Clay is available on the Criterion Channel until 24 September. Karen O explained that the band reworked almost 24 songs for a stripped-back quartet and acoustic arrangement in under a week at Sonic Ranch in February 2025, working alongside Imaad Wasif and string arranger Jherek Bischoff. The Royal Albert Hall performance, the band's first at the venue, was only the third date of the tour, and Karen O described the shows as "extraordinarily vulnerable", hoping that quality comes through in the recording.
