Polygon has published a walkthrough for "Someone Needs A Lesson," an early quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker that players encounter near protagonist Coen's family home in the village of Laslea. The quest starts dynamically, requiring players to chase down and catch a villager named Vasil as he taunts Coen, before his father, Atanas, intervenes and gives Coen the choice of how to discipline the boy. The guide is useful because the quest branches into several distinct paths depending on player choices, though the outcomes converge to a broadly similar conclusion.

Whatever path is taken, Atanas eventually offers Coen the chance to punish Vasil, either by beating him with a stick himself, allowing Atanas to do it, or refusing and potentially fighting Atanas instead. Regardless of the choices made, the quest concludes with Coen finding Vasil sitting alone on a bench, offering one of a few similar dialogue responses, and earning 250 XP. The guide notes that these decisions apparently have no bearing on a later encounter with Vasil, who gifts Coen an amulet much further into the game.
