Earl’s son, 40, weds heiress, 25… after split from his film actress ex aged 73

Garrett Moore, the 40-year-old son of the Earl of Drogheda, has married 25-year-old American heiress Hope Chilton in a low-key London ceremony, following the end of his engagement to Hollywood actress Colleen Camp, who is 33 years his senior. The wedding, held earlier this year, only recently became public knowledge, marking a notably quiet turn for a man known for organising lavish celebrity-filled parties.

The ceremony took place at St Sophia's Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Bayswater in May, attended by a small circle of family and friends, including Moore's father, photographer Derry Moore, and the bride's father, billionaire investor Richard Lockwood Chilton Jr. Moore had previously been engaged to Camp, 73, star of Apocalypse Now and Police Academy, after the pair announced wedding plans in 2020, though Camp later described the proposal as "a joke that went too far" before they separated. Chilton, the youngest of four children, comes from a family whose fortune exceeds $1billion and who own the Grade I-listed Crichel House estate in Dorset, once reportedly considered as a potential home for Prince William and Kate.
