Nintendo and Laced Audio have released official vinyl boxsets of the Breath of the Wild soundtrack, marking the first time a Nintendo soundtrack has been commercially released on vinyl outside Japan. Both editions went on sale on 4th September, and Nintendo Life's review of the larger Limited Edition set finds it a lavishly packaged, thoughtfully sequenced celebration of the game's music, though not entirely without minor gripes.

The larger 8LP Limited Edition costs $194.99/£159.99 and features gold-on-blue artwork, individually illustrated slipcases and "splatter effect" pressed vinyl, while a smaller, budget-friendlier 34-track 2LP set costs $49.99/£49.99 with a blue-and-white marble disc design; a cheaper non-limited black vinyl version is also available. The 8LP set spans 16 sides and 130 tracks, arranged thematically to mirror the flow of a player's journey through Hyrule, with the reviewer praising the cohesive track ordering while noting the splatter disc design feels slightly mismatched with the set's otherwise elegant presentation.
