Apple TV has confirmed that Neuromancer, its long-awaited adaptation of William Gibson's seminal 1984 cyberpunk novel, will premiere on 22 January 2027. The announcement continues Apple TV's strategy of building a strong sci-fi library alongside hits such as Severance, Silo and For All Mankind, and marks the first time the notoriously "unfilmable" novel has been brought to screen after decades of stalled attempts, largely thanks to advances in production technology that can now realise its shifting, mindspace-set world.

The series stars Callum Turner as hacker Case and Briana Middleton as assassin Molly, who team up for a heist against a secretive corporate dynasty. It launches with two episodes, followed by weekly instalments every Friday until 19 March 2027. Graham Roland and JD Dillard created the show, with Roland as showrunner and Dillard directing the opening three episodes; rappers Drake and Future are among the executive producers. The supporting cast includes Mark Strong, Peter Sarsgaard, Joseph Lee and Clémence Poésy.
