Sexy Fire Emblem-Inspired Game Food Devils Officially Claims November Release
Studio Daimon has confirmed that its strategy RPG Food Devils will launch on 5 November, according to an exclusive reveal from Polygon as part of its 2026 Fall Preview coverage. The game blends grid-based tactical combat in the style of Fire Emblem with restaurant management and dating-sim elements, casting players as a chef who must recruit demons to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. Its interlocking systems and distinctive premise have made it one of the more closely watched indie releases due before the end of the year.
In Food Devils, players hunt enemies for ingredients, cook dishes that buff their party, and customise a restaurant to attract adventurers and woo the five titular Food Devils through romance or a "Devil Contract". Game director Alfred Kamon told Polygon that every system was designed to feed into the next, with restaurant furniture and food choices affecting which adventurers appear and their stats in battle. He also explained how Devil Contracts can dramatically reclass adventurers, and how mechanics such as Calories and Hunger put a fresh spin on traditional tactics RPG combat compared with games like Fire Emblem.
