A British nurse, Natalie Green, has spoken out after discovering her fiancé of eight years, Liam McAuley, formed a relationship with an Australian woman during a cruise while visiting family in Australia. Green, who had been messaging him daily throughout the trip, learned of the affair only after videos of the romance, dubbed "Mr UK," went viral online, leaving her publicly humiliated and prompting her to describe feeling "hurt, angry and absolutely heartbroken."

The other woman involved, Sydney business owner Sammi, 44, had documented the whirlwind shipboard romance on social media, unaware McAuley was already engaged; she says she ended things immediately after being alerted by Green's family that he had a fiancée at home. McAuley reportedly told Green he was staying in Australia an extra week for a mining job, while in reality he had cancelled his flight to remain with Sammi. Both women have since posted on social media insisting they are moving on, with Green vowing not to let the betrayal "get the better" of her.
