Jon Rahm has declined to give a clear answer on whether he would like a route back to the PGA Tour, as LIV Golf's future beyond 2026 remains highly uncertain. Speaking ahead of the Irish Open, where he will play on the DP World Tour, the Spaniard said he had "no updates" on LIV's situation, reflecting the broader limbo facing the circuit's players as they wait to learn what, if anything, comes next.

LIV lost its backing from Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund at the end of the 2026 season, and although chief executive Scott O'Neil has pointed to a new investor lined up for a "LIV 2.0", reports of a possible bankruptcy filing have clouded the outlook. Rahm, LIV's individual champion in every season since 2024 and reportedly owed over $100 million on his contract, said only that "time will tell" both on his future and on being paid in full, adding that he remains willing to honour his existing deal. With no clarity on what LIV 2.0 might look like, or what any pathway back to the PGA Tour would entail, Rahm and his fellow LIV players appear to have little choice but to wait and see.
