Sylvia Hoeks has joined the cast of Apple TV's forthcoming action thriller "Disavowed" as a series regular, expanding the roster around lead James Marsden. The show, created by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway, follows a disgraced former CIA case officer who pursues a $15 million federal bounty on an assassin after being fired mid-investigation into a colleague's killing. Hoeks joins previously announced cast member Norman Reedus, though details of her character remain undisclosed.

The series comes from Apple Studios, with Michelle MacLaren directing the first two episodes and executive producing alongside Marcum, Holloway, Tom Spezialy, Rebecca Hobbs and Marsden; Blue Marble Pictures is producing. Hoeks, known for playing Luv in "Blade Runner 2049" and Queen Kane in Apple TV's "See", is currently appearing in Prime Video's "Ride or Die" and will next star as Anna Nicole Smith in the theatrical film "Hurricanna", due for release on 13 November.
