First Behind-The Scenes Look Reveals Isabelle Huppert As Crime Boss In Yann Demange’s London-Set ‘Lineage’
Isabelle Huppert has been unveiled in a first behind-the-scenes image as a crime boss in Yann Demange's new thriller "Lineage", released by production company The Veterans ahead of a sales push at the Toronto International Film Festival. The London-set project marks a personal venture for Demange, who describes it as a love letter to the city he grew up in, and brings together an international cast including Dali Benssalah, Adam Bessa and singer Raye, who makes her feature film debut.
Filming is currently underway in London for the story, which follows Tariq, a man rebuilding his life after prison, who is drawn back into London's criminal underworld and his crime boss mother's orbit when his brother asks for help. The screenplay is written by Enda Walsh, with financing and production involving numerous companies including BBC Film, Goodfellas and Why Not Productions, alongside a range of executive producers and talent agencies representing the cast and creative team.
