Jodie Comer Seduces Harry Melling in a Song With a Corpse in a New Clip from a New TIFF Musical [EXCLUSIVE]
Collider has shared an exclusive clip from "Stuffed", a dark musical premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival, starring Jodie Comer and Harry Melling. Directed by Theo Rhys and co-written with Joss Holden-Rea, the film follows a taxidermist who falls for a man who volunteers to be her next human specimen, blending romance, comedy and body horror.
The exclusive scene shows Comer's character Araminta singing to Melling's Bernie beside an open casket, appearing to seduce him into agreeing to be stuffed after death. Holden-Rea and Rhys said the sequence sets the film's tone, mixing intimacy and humour with themes of death and legacy, and compared its style to darker musicals such as "Repo! The Genetic Opera" and "Pippin". "Stuffed" is due to screen at TIFF.
