Persona 4 Revival has been officially confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2, and Atlus has also revealed that the forthcoming Persona 6 will come to the console, giving fans confirmation that both the remake and the franchise's next mainline entry will be playable on Nintendo's new hardware. The news follows Persona 4 Revival's earlier reveal for numerous other platforms, closing the notable gap around Switch 2 support, while the Persona 6 tease marks the first confirmation that the console will host the series' next major instalment.
Persona 4 Revival is set to launch on Switch 2 on 20th May 2027, a few months behind its PS5 release, and is billed as a full remake preserving the original's mix of school life, music and mystery, with players forming an investigation team to probe murders linked to the supernatural "Midnight Channel" and battling "Shadows" using awakened Persona powers. Persona 6, by contrast, remains largely undefined: Atlus has given no release date but says it will deliver a fresh, standalone story and new cast of characters while retaining the series' signature blend of everyday school life and supernatural adventure.

Persona 4 Revival is a remake of Persona 4, a 2008 Japanese role-playing game in which a group of high-school students investigate a string of mysterious murders in a small town, tied to a supernatural television world called the Midnight Channel. The remake is being made by Atlus, the Japanese studio behind the long-running Persona series, which blends everyday school-life drama with monster-battling and dungeon exploration.
The Persona games have built a large, devoted fanbase over the years, and each new instalment or remake is watched closely for which consoles it will appear on. Nintendo's Switch 2 is the successor to the hugely popular Switch console, and confirming a game for it early signals how seriously a publisher is backing the new hardware.
