Dolly Parton's SongTeller Hotel in Nashville has launched a new monthly music series, "FEMcountry at Parton's Live," in partnership with FEMco, an organisation founded by music executive Leslie Fram to support women in the industry. The series, hosted at the hotel's intimate Parton's Live venue, will spotlight rising and established female artists and forms part of the hotel's wider mission to celebrate songwriters and Parton's legacy of championing other performers.

The series begins on 22 September with an in-depth conversation featuring Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Jo Dee Messina, known for hits such as "Bring on the Rain" and "Bye Bye," followed by performances from Kylie Frey, Ruby Amanfu and Shelly Fairchild. Held on the third Tuesday of each month and open to the public, further dates are set for 20 October, 17 November and 15 December, with lineups to be announced. Messina described the series as feeling like "a passing of the torch" carrying forward Parton's spirit, while Fram said the partnership reflects Parton's long-standing role as "the gold standard for using her platform to lift others up."
