Live Nation has cancelled AC/DC's 16 September concert at Rogers Stadium in Toronto after a severe storm caused significant damage to the 50,000-capacity venue the previous week. Engineers, working with the City of Toronto, determined that storm-affected sections of the stadium would need to be removed and rebuilt, leaving the venue unable to safely host the show. The decision underscores the scale of the storm, described as a once-in-a-century weather event for the region.

Kevin Mahoney, the stadium's on-site meteorologist, said a suspected microburst brought extreme winds and heavy rain, making it a "100-year storm" for Toronto, with forensic analysis still ongoing. Wayne Zronik of Live Nation Canada said safety had to come first and that repair work would be carried out carefully ahead of the venue reopening next season. All original Ticketmaster purchasers will receive automatic refunds, while resale buyers must seek refunds from their point of sale. The cancellation comes amid AC/DC's "PWR/UP" tour, which continues with shows in Montreal on 12 September and Winnipeg on 20 September.
