Slayyyter has released "crank 2," a new track presented as the flip side to her 2025 single "CRANK," continuing to build out her upcoming album Worst Man in America. Where "CRANK" captured a spiral of self-sabotage, "crank 2" turns its lyrical focus onto an unfaithful ex-partner, with the artist boasting of her rising success while he is left behind. The release matters as part of her wider creative project: rather than issuing straightforward remixes, she is reworking songs from her breakout LP WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA into darker "evil flip" counterparts.

The song keeps the same pulsing Jersey club production as the original and arrives with a self-directed music video featuring tornadoes, smashed cars and a flag emblazoned with the album's title. It follows lead single "brand new chanel$," though a release date for the full album remains unannounced. Slayyyter has also recently covered Hole's "Violet" for Triple J's Like a Version and contributed a remix to Turnstile's companion album, while continuing her 2026 North American and European headline tour, which runs through to a London date at the Roundhouse on 5 November.
