My Chemical Romance have announced an expanded 20th anniversary reissue of their 2006 album 'The Black Parade', due out on 23 October via Reprise Records. The four-times platinum record helped define the emo era, and this reissue marks two decades since its release by compiling, for the first time, everything the band completed during the original recording sessions.

The reissue keeps the original 14-track album and adds six bonus tracks: three live recordings from a 2007 show at the 200-capacity Maxwell venue in Hoboken, and three previously scattered B-sides, including the never-before-released 'Someone Out There Loves You'. To mark the announcement, the band have released the live version of 'The Sharpest Lives' to streaming for the first time; it was previously only available on the DVD of their 2008 live collection 'The Black Parade Is Dead!'. Artist James Jean, who created the original cover art, has produced three new illustrations for the reissue, which will be sold as a 2LP, a 1LP hologram vinyl, and a limited 7,000-copy One Step vinyl pressed from the original analogue masters. The announcement comes as MCR continue their 'Long Live The Black Parade' anniversary tour, currently in North America after UK and European dates.
