Brian Fallon hints at big plans for The Gaslight Anthem in 2027: “We are definitely not going to not be busy”

Far Out · 3 hours ago

Brian Fallon has revealed that The Gaslight Anthem are set for a busy 2027, with a new album currently in the works and touring plans already taking shape. Speaking to Far Out, Fallon confirmed he is writing fresh material for the New Jersey band even while promoting his own solo career, suggesting the group's extended 2015 hiatus is precisely why they remain productive today.

Fallon hinted that touring could begin around late summer 2027, though he declined to confirm whether it would tie in with the 20th anniversary of debut album Sink or Swim or the 15th anniversary of Handwritten. Before any Gaslight Anthem activity, Fallon will tour his new solo record, Not Bad for New Jersey, across North America and Europe, including UK dates in London, Manchester, Dublin and Glasgow in November.
