New Harry Potter Replacement Officially Sets 2026 Release Window
Chucklefish and Robotality's Witchbrook, a magical college life simulator, has confirmed its 2026 release window alongside new details about its romance system. Positioned as an alternative to Hogwarts Legacy's more limited student life, the game aims to give players a fuller campus experience, including running a business, decorating a cottage, and forming relationships, at the fictional Witchbrook College in the seaside town of Mossport.
The game will include 11 romanceable characters, six of whom have already been revealed: Hana, Eli, Cormac, Pip, Leif and Evadne. Players build relationships through spending time together, gift-giving and observing daily routines, with formal dates arranged via cards from the local post office; Mossport features over 200 contextual "date chatter" locations that let characters react to their surroundings. Romance is optional, with friendship storylines available for every character, and multiplayer allows friends to pursue the same character competitively until one relationship becomes official.
