"Misty Green," distributed by A24, follows a once-acclaimed actress, played by Rosalind Eleazar, who attempts a career comeback by reconnecting with her former agent, portrayed by Topher Grace. The comedy-drama also features Adam Driver, Daniel Kaluuya, Anna Kendrick and Rock himself in a small role. Rock said the idea stemmed from encountering a formerly famous actress working in a "loop group" providing background voice work, though he declined to name her. The film is due for release in cinemas on 9 October.
