Leverage, a cult-favourite heist series that ran on TNT from 2008, has become freely available to stream after 14 years of being hard to find. All but the show's most recent season is now on YouTube via ElectricNOW, the official channel of production company Electric Entertainment, ending its long absence from syndication and streaming platforms. The move revives interest in a series often overshadowed by similar antihero shows of the era, such as White Collar, Burn Notice and Psych.

The series follows Nate Ford (Timothy Hutton), a former insurance investigator who assembles a crew of criminals, including a "retrieval specialist" (Christian Kane), a hacker (Aldis Hodge), a thief (Beth Riesgraf) and a con artist (Gina Bellman), to target wealthy and corrupt figures on behalf of people they have wronged. Filmed during the Great Recession, many episodes drew directly on contemporary headlines, and the show became known among fans for its "competence porn" appeal, with tightly plotted 45-minute capers delivering satisfying comeuppances to villains such as scammers, corporate spies and mob bosses.
