Three found dead in San Diego home in suspected murder-suicide

Daily Mail · 43 minutes ago

Two adults and an 11-year-old girl were found dead early on Wednesday morning inside a $1 million (approximately £790,000) home in the Lake Murray area of San Diego, after a neighbour who had heard "loud bangs" overnight raised the alarm. Police believe the deaths may constitute a murder-suicide, and say there is no continuing danger to the wider community, though the case remains under investigation.

The neighbour became worried when the family's daughter failed to leave for school that morning and used a spare key, given to her for pet-sitting duties, to let herself into the property on Boulder Lake Avenue. Inside, she discovered a husband and wife dead in one bedroom and their daughter dead in a separate room. Officers confirmed a firearm was involved and noted they had never previously attended the address. Homicide detectives are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
