Daily Mail · 41 minutes ago

A 70-year-old woman was allegedly decapitated at a property near Mole River, New South Wales, after police responded to reports of a domestic violence incident. A 37-year-old man, understood to be her son, was arrested after allegedly attempting to steal a vehicle and assaulting a 74-year-old homeowner; a nearby house was also partly damaged by fire. The case was one of three separate incidents involving women’s deaths across NSW within about 12 hours.

In Bondi, a woman in her 90s died after suffering significant injuries, and a 47-year-old man known to her was charged with murder in a domestic-violence matter. In Wagga Wagga, a 23-year-old woman was found with fatal stab wounds inside a home; a 31-year-old man, believed to have been in a relationship with her, was later charged with murder. The investigations remained ongoing, with police and courts to determine the facts and responsibility in each case.
