Wicky Ned ended his Sheffield campaign in emphatic fashion by winning the Time Greyhound Nutrition 3 Steps To Victory Final. The front-running performance delivered another major title for trainer Jimmy Fenwick’s leading greyhound and reinforced Ned’s strong record at Owlerton.

Starting from trap six, Ned was sent off at 7-4, behind 11-8 favourite Chelms Bear, but broke sharply and soon took control. The August 2022 son of Droopys Sydney and Ballycowen Lucy won the £10,000 final decisively, recording the fastest time of the year over the event’s six-bend distance and securing his third major Sheffield success.
