Mylla Films has expanded its Nordic genre slate with projects involving Ghost frontman Tobias Forge and “Midsommar” production designer Henrik Svensson. Forge is making his directorial debut with a music-video segment for the horror anthology “V/H/S/ Mixtape”, while Svensson is directing the experimental feature “The End”; meanwhile, Swedish horror film “Trespassers” will be pitched to potential co-financiers at Helsinki’s Finnish Film Affair.

“Trespassers”, directed by Johannes Persson, has already secured Nordic distribution from Scanbox and carries a budget of €3 million. Mylla Films says tighter financing conditions have encouraged it to pursue cheaper, faster projects, although its first fiction feature, “Bloodsuckers”, is due in early 2027 and larger productions such as “Devastation” remain slower to develop.
