After a seven-year interval since Once Upon a Time in Hollywood's critical and commercial success, a continuation of the story has officially advanced with Brad Pitt reprising his Oscar-winning role as stuntman Cliff Booth. The character has evolved into a Hollywood studio fixer operating in 1977, with Quentin Tarantino penning the screenplay for this new instalment titled The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth.

A notable creative distinction sets this sequel apart: director David Fincher takes over helming duties instead of Tarantino, introducing a fresh artistic sensibility to the continuation. This partnership sees Tarantino maintain narrative authority through his screenplay whilst Fincher brings his distinctive directorial perspective. Netflix will distribute the film, with a promotional trailer now released to audiences.
