Titus Welliver has confirmed that there is an intention to bring his version of Harry Bosch back as the lead in a future solo project, although no firm plans have been announced. Those involved reportedly favour a standalone film, which could allow the character to return after Prime Video ended Bosch: Legacy.

Welliver played Bosch for seven seasons and three further seasons of Bosch: Legacy, and has since appeared in Ballard. He cited Prime Video’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War as evidence that a successful streaming series can continue through a feature-length film, while MGM+ is developing Bosch: Start of Watch, a prequel starring Cameron Monaghan. Welliver said fans want to see the original Bosch, and Michael Connelly’s novels still provide numerous stories for adaptation.
