Riley Green made his coaching debut on The Voice season 30, where he successfully recruited 19-year-old country artist Joe Henley to join his team. After Henley revealed that "My Way" was his favourite song and that Riley Green was his number one artist, the coach took to the stage to perform the duet with him. Henley ultimately chose Green as his coach over Clarkson, with Green expressing enthusiasm about his strategy to recruit as many country artists as possible for the competition, believing country music has a strong chance of winning the show this season.
