Two additional PlayStation 5 games have been added to PS Plus Extra in the UK, USA, and Japan as of 22 September 2026. Ball X Pit and Slitterhead are now available to subscribers in these territories, though members in other regions received access to the full September lineup earlier in the month. Sony is trialling a staggered release approach for PS Plus Extra titles across these three regions.

Ball X Pit is a roguelite that combines elements of Vampire Survivors and Breakout, where players use balls to clear stages and construct a base between runs. Slitterhead, directed by veteran developer Keiichiro Toyama, is positioned as a spiritual successor to PlayStation franchises such as Siren, Gravity Rush, and Soul Sacrifice, featuring a supernatural narrative about a body-hopping spirit that uses humans to combat a mysterious threat.
