A feature documentary about Tupac Shakur’s murder trial and Duane “Keffe D” Davis’s conviction is being developed by Propagate Content and Passion Pictures, with Emmy-nominated and BAFTA-winning director Marian Mohamed attached. Scheduled for Sky Documentaries and NOW in 2027, it will examine the recent Las Vegas trial and its significance in resolving a murder that remained unsolved for three decades.

The film will follow proceedings from the opening evidence through Davis’s verdict and sentencing, incorporating interviews with Shakur’s family, including his brother Mopreme, as well as previously unseen family footage and photographs. More than two dozen prosecution witnesses, including police officers and investigators, testified, while the case was linked to the gang violence and East Coast–West Coast hip-hop rivalry of the 1990s.
