Disney+ has secured EMEA broadcasting rights to the first season of French streaming hit Cat's Eyes, with the show becoming available across the UK, Ireland, Nordics, Benelux, Central Europe, Turkey and South Africa from December 2026. The acquisition marks significant expansion for the show, which has already sold to over 30 territories globally but has never previously been available in the UK and Ireland. The announcement arrives as TF1 prepares to launch season two in France on 12 October, with Disney+ also taking on a co-production role alongside existing broadcasters including RAI, AMC Global Media Iberia and RTS.

Based on a cult 1980s manga by Tsukasa Hojo, Cat's Eyes follows three sisters conducting elaborate art heists to locate paintings belonging to their missing father whilst combating an art-trafficking ring. Season one achieved substantial viewership, attracting an average of 5.3 million viewers and peaking at 6.7 million for the premiere, whilst capturing a notable 41% audience share among 15 to 24-year-olds. The eight-part second season expands beyond Paris's iconic landmarks (previously featuring the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and Versailles) to locations across France including Mont Saint-Michel, the Musée d'Orsay and Centre Pompidou, with new heist sequences involving a moving train and the Montparnasse Tower.
