Dates are also available at other agriculture spots in the desert and Orion Canyon, but these locations mix them with other vegetables.

Cai cannot reach the western continent, including the desert, so must obtain dates through veggie crates sold in towns and cities. After finding one date, players can plant it at a farming spot and use manure from the Dagsion stables to grow a larger crop, though a rare-vegetable result may force them to try again. The effort is worthwhile because Halvin’s Adaptability ability improves her hit rate after every combat, while other skills and long-range weapons make her effective against enemies in advantageous terrain.
