During recording, each day began with 45 minutes of storytelling sessions with these collaborators, which Flowers described as both a distraction and a privilege given their illustrious histories. Regarding The Killers' next album, Flowers confirmed it is in progress but revealed little detail; he suggested the record is likely to arrive in early 2028, though a late 2027 release is possible.
