Woman paralysed after man falls on her from tree at Knocked Loose’s Louder Than Life set
A woman has been left paralysed from the waist down after a man fell from a tree and landed on her during Knocked Loose's performance at the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, Kentucky on 18 September. Jamie Ulshoffer was standing near the back of the tented Impact Stage when the incident occurred, resulting in a severed spinal cord and her remaining in intensive care at UofL Hospital.
A tree limb broke, causing the man to fall directly onto Ulshoffer. Louisville police determined on 22 September that no criminal investigation would be opened, with the matter treated as civil. Ulshoffer's family launched a GoFundMe that has raised over $13,000 towards a $22,000 target to cover medical expenses and recovery costs.
