Graveyard Keeper 2's crafting system requires various materials scattered across the map, divided between easily obtainable resources and those requiring specific production methods or unlocked workstations. This guide identifies the best sources for each material to ensure players maintain adequate supplies for construction and crafting.
– Firewood: crafted at the Chopping Spot using Small Logs or Sticks, then produced via the Firewood Shed workstation
– Ash: obtained by burning bodies at the Crematorium I to maintain graveyard reputation
– Melted Fat: produced by burning items at the Distillation Cube
– Ink: created at the Writing Desk using Ash, Water, and Melted Fat (one of each)
– Honey: extracted from beehives found on certain trees; refreshes on a timer
– Iron: mined from large brown shining nodes located in the base and Forest (requires sufficient mastery)
– Sand: found southwest of the base along the stream by the fishing spot; alternatively produced from Tin using the Sluice Box
– Marble: exclusively mined in the Forest or found in certain chests; unavailable in the base
