DJI has released the Osmo 360 II, an updated panoramic action camera that improves upon its predecessor with higher frame rates, improved dynamic range, and better low-light performance. The most significant addition is replaceable lenses, which can be swapped in under five minutes using an inexpensive kit—a major upgrade in repairability over the original model. Priced at €589, it undercuts its main rival, the Insta360 X6, though it remains unavailable in the United States, which limits its appeal to North American consumers.

The camera features dual 1/1.1-inch 8K sensors capturing 180-degree views that stitch together in-camera to create full 360-degree video, with the option to export as flattened 4K or panoramic formats. Key specifications include 105GB of internal storage (more than double the X6), 600 MB/s USB transfer speeds, and a new 2,150mAh battery rated for approximately 105 minutes of 8K 30fps shooting, charging fully in 39 minutes. Additional features include a 2-inch touch display, NFC tap-to-connect functionality, and 120-megapixel panoramic still photos, though battery life and charging speed remain slightly behind the competing Insta360 X6.
