A sophisticated cannabis farm containing more than 300 mature plants has been discovered above a bar on Attercliffe Road in Sheffield. Two men were arrested on suspicion of producing cannabis and immigration offences, highlighting concerns about commercial premises being used to support illegal drug supply.

Officers broke through a barricaded door during the operation earlier this month and found plants ready to be harvested and distributed across South Yorkshire. Both men were bailed while police continued their inquiries; officers also said warning signs of cannabis farms can include blacked-out windows, excessive condensation and unusual visitors.
