Jonathan Taylor Thomas was arrested in Westlake Village, California, after allegedly leaving a vehicle during a police stop and resisting deputies’ instructions. Authorities reportedly accused him of obstruction and public intoxication; he was booked at the Malibu/Lost Hills sheriff’s station and released shortly afterwards.

The vehicle’s driver was being investigated for suspected drink-driving when Thomas, reportedly a passenger, exited despite being told to remain inside. Thomas, a former child star best known for Home Improvement and voicing young Simba in The Lion King, had recently reunited with former co-stars after largely withdrawing from Hollywood.
