The 2005 movie Adam Scott would never make again: “It’s not the sort of thing I would do”
Adam Scott has said he would probably not choose to make the 2008 Jennifer Lopez romantic comedy Monster-in-Law if given the choice today. Although the film was valuable to him professionally and allowed him to work with stars including Lopez and Jane Fonda, Scott’s increasingly serious and unsettling roles now reflect a different artistic direction.
Scott’s recent projects include the horror film Hokum, Netflix thriller The Whisper Man and the acclaimed series Severance, with a third season eagerly anticipated. He acknowledged that Monster-in-Law was an important job when he needed work, but said he would feel conflicted discussing it because he does not want to disparage the people who hired him.
