DC’s Robin Movie Officially Delayed and Reveals an All-Star Cast

Warner Bros. has delayed the animated Robin origin film *Dynamic Duo* from 30 June to 22 September 2028, repositioning it as a back-to-school release aimed at teenagers and college students. The shift also avoids a scheduling conflict with Paramount's *Call of Duty* film, which is set for the original June date as part of the ongoing Warner Bros. and Paramount merger discussions.
The studio has unveiled a high-profile voice cast including Mason Thames as Dick Grayson, Logan Kim as Jason Todd, Marsai Martin as Barbara Gordon, Lee Pace and Steve Buscemi as two incarnations of Red Hood, with Chris Pine reportedly offered the role of Bruce Wayne. Directed by Arthur Mintz from a screenplay by Matthew Aldrich, the film will employ a hybrid visual technique combining miniatures, puppetry, animatronics, models and CGI rather than traditional animation. The project operates as an *Elseworlds* story outside James Gunn's DC Universe canon, focusing on the origins of the first two Robin characters.
