Zee 5 Global is releasing the romantic film "Hi" today on its streaming platform, featuring Indian actors Nayanthara and Kavin. The film, directed by Vishnu Edavan, tells the story of two people overcoming personal challenges to find love and self-discovery, and will be available across all Zee 5 territories globally, including the United States and Canada. The streaming release follows the film's theatrical run in late August.

The film explores modern relationships through the perspectives of its two leads: Kavin's character is a man who persists in seeking love despite previous heartbreak, whilst Nayanthara plays a woman navigating family pressures and an unwanted marriage. The production features veteran Tamil cinema actors Radhika Sarathkumar, Prabhu, and K. Bhagyaraj, whose final on-screen performance this represents following his death in June. The film is produced by Zee Studios, Seven Screen Studio, and Rowdy Pictures, the latter a company co-run by Nayanthara with filmmaker Vignesh Shivan.
