FC 27 introduces Holographic and Signature cards as new cosmetic variants alongside standard and promotional items. Holographics add a shimmering foil effect without changing the card’s design, while Signatures are rarer versions that replace the usual name and statistics with a stylised signature; neither provides a statistical boost.

Both variants are mainly obtained by opening packs, although their odds appear to be low. Every card, including Gold Rares, can reportedly be Holographic, while Signatures are harder to find; players may eventually receive Holographic items by opening enough packs, and future guaranteed methods are expected. Spending coins to increase FUT Gallery level is discouraged because it may not offer good value.
