Keychron’s Thunderbolt 5 Dock is a capable, thoughtfully designed expansion hub from a company better known for mechanical keyboards. It offers extensive connectivity, fast data transfers, display support and up to 140W laptop charging, making it a strong option as newer computers increasingly rely on Thunderbolt for peripherals.

The dock has 14 connections, including three front-mounted USB ports, full-size and microSD readers, audio with inline-microphone support, three Thunderbolt 5 ports, Ethernet, HDMI and additional USB-A ports. It delivered near-maximum speeds with multiple storage devices and remained stable on a desk, although its HDMI outputs are limited to 4K at 60Hz and macOS cannot independently drive two HDMI displays through the dock; it costs $350.
