A coordinated anti-Israel protest took place in Manhattan on Thursday, organised by networks funded by communist tech entrepreneur Neville Roy Singham, who is currently under federal investigation by the Justice Department for alleged money laundering, bank fraud and wire fraud. The demonstration featured professional logistics including field marshals, pre-made signs, portable sound equipment and a stage, and prominently included Singham's wife, Jodie Evans, alongside other activist leaders and notable figures including actress Susan Sarandon.

The four-hour protest involved multiple overlapping organisations such as the People's Forum, the Party for Socialism and Liberation, CodePink, and Jewish Voice for Peace, demonstrating how groups with shared leadership and funding can coordinate large-scale street campaigns. Notable participants included CodePink co-founder Medea Benjamin and actress Cynthia Nixon, whilst Susan Sarandon was arrested after demonstrators blocked First Avenue. Congressional lawmakers and federal officials have criticised these groups as antisemitic, anti-American and serving Chinese Communist Party interests, though no criminal charges have been filed against Singham or his organisations.
