HBO Max is adding six A Nightmare on Elm Street films on 1 October, giving subscribers a substantial selection for the Halloween season. The collection includes the 1984 original and five sequels or related films, allowing viewers to revisit how Freddy Krueger evolved from a frightening dream-stalker into a more familiar horror icon.

The additions are Wes Craven’s original film, Freddy’s Revenge, Dream Warriors, The Dream Master, The Dream Child and the 2010 remake starring Jackie Earle Haley. Freddy vs. Jason will also be available, offering fans another option beyond the five films from the original series and a chance to compare Robert Englund’s portrayal with the remake’s interpretation.
