The Big Bang Theory spin-off Stuart Fails to Save the Universe has been renewed for a second season after its first season ended with Stuart and his friends discovering they are fictional characters. The cliffhanger has increased interest in the show’s return, although production and the premiere date remain unconfirmed.

Season 2 is expected to contain 10 episodes, matching the first season. Filming could begin in January or February 2027, with creators Chuck Lorre, Bill Prady and Zak Penn aiming to write at least half—and ideally all—of the season beforehand; Lorre suggested the series might return around summer 2027.
