Cesar Valdes, 89, and Magdaleno Medina, 73, have been arrested in Miami and accused of selling drugs and possessing stolen firearms. Police allege that Medina sold cocaine to an undercover officer, after which a search of the men’s trailer reportedly uncovered cocaine, marijuana, ammunition, guns and more than $4,800 in cash. The case has also highlighted that both men allegedly entered the United States without inspection in 1980 and had previously received exclusion orders.

Medina faces eight felony charges, including cocaine trafficking, possession with intent to sell, and illegal firearm and ammunition possession as a convicted felon. Valdes faces five similar drug- and firearm-related charges; both have prior criminal records and are being held in a Miami jail with immigration detainers. They have pleaded not guilty, and their lawyer declined to comment.
