Pokémon GO’s Phantump Catch Mastery event will give players 24 hours to seek the featured Ghost-type Pokémon and its Shiny variant. It matters because Shiny Phantump encounters will be more likely, but the event is brief and all timed research must be completed before it ends.

The event runs on Saturday, September 26, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time. Nice Throws or better will award double XP and increased Candy, while Field Research and free Timed Research provide encounters with Phantump, Cherubi and Drifloon; a $1.99 paid research ticket offers additional rewards and encounters, and a separate $1.99 Web Store ticket box includes two Rare Candies.
