Adapted from Elle Kennedy’s bestselling romance novels, the series combines familiar university and sports-romance elements with more serious, nuanced examinations of trauma, abuse and emotional vulnerability.

The first season follows hockey player Garrett Graham, who asks scholarship student Hannah Wells to tutor him and proposes a fake relationship to attract her crush’s attention; their arrangement gradually develops into genuine romance. Season 2 will adapt The Score, shifting focus to Garrett’s friends Dean Di Laurentis and Allie Hayes, while possible future seasons could explore further relationships from Kennedy’s books in an ensemble format similar to Bridgerton.
