Bandai Namco is ending online support for Synduality: Echo of Ada, its 2025 PvPvE extraction shooter featuring anime-inspired characters and mecha combat. From May 2027, the game will be taken offline, while content updates will stop after next month; however, it will be converted into an offline title rather than being abandoned completely.

The offline version will retain the game’s extraction-shooter structure but remove online competition against other players. The update will be free for existing owners, with further details promised soon. The game received lukewarm reviews and struggled to attract players after launch, later joining PS Plus Essential in December 2025.
